Across different platforms, I’m focused on building skills and perspective through consistent practice and intentional learning.
Hi, I’m Benz, nice to meet you all.
Quiet Horizon is a collection of my work and learning across photography, data analysis and independent studies all grounded in curiosity and craft. My interests lies in analyzing informations through data sets, images and perspectives in detail. This space exists to display how I build skills, perspective and judgement over time.
Photography is where I practice crafting visual sceneries with patience and conveying what I see visually to my audiences. Data Analysis is where I practice interpreting and communicating information to my audiences with clarity. My independent studies explores how I learn, communicate, and understand the world from foundation skills to mindsets and methods that shaped my work.

Calmness Within the City: Featured in Beyond the Job Exhibition, organized by Snappix

Working as a manager for more than ten years has taught me that problems never stop coming. Some are small, while others demand far more time and energy. Over the years, I found myself wanting something different—a quieter and simpler way of living.
That was one reason I began traveling to rural areas. I thought peace could only be found by escaping the city.
Eventually, I realized I was looking in the wrong place.
Peace is not determined by where we live. It comes from the way we choose to see the world.
This photograph, Calmness Within the City, reflects that realization. Singapore is one of the most developed countries in the world, yet it is also one of the most peaceful places I have visited. Its modern skyline never felt overwhelming. Instead, it felt calm and orderly.
The photograph brings together some of Singapore’s most recognizable landmarks—the ArtScience Museum, Marina Bay Sands, and the Singapore Flyer. Each structure is architecturally complex, yet together they create a scene that feels balanced rather than chaotic.
That contrast reminds me that peace does not always exist away from the city. Sometimes, it exists within it—and within ourselves.
